June is men’s health month, a nationally recognized holiday designed to raise awareness of preventable health problems and encourage early detection and treatment of disease among males. Here we share tips on how to  make your health a priority this month to celebrate.

Men, here’s the sign you’ve been waiting for to schedule that doctor’s appointment. There’s no better time than now to see a health professional. Regular health screenings give you peace of mind because they can detect signs of disease early, allowing you to stop health problems in their tracks.

Educate Yourself.

Use this month as a time to become more knowledgeable about your body — including the amount of exercise you should be doing or what someone your age should be consuming. Learn about preventative tips for disease and other precautions you can take to ensure you live a long, prosperous life.
